This case does protect my phone very well. I have dropped it many times since I've put this case on and the phone has no marks on it and works perfectly. The only thing i wish it had was a stickier backing. It sometimes slides off the seat in my car if I hit the brakes or gas too hard. -- Very good case

Blackberries, on their own, are not very durable, this is why you need an otter box.
The case will protect the blackberry without adding too much weight or bulk.

Took me a while to decide between the different Otterbox cases and I'm so happy I chose this case. I've had it about 2 months and the case is not overly bulky and feels as though it will protect nicely. Be careful installing the screen shield. I'm not sure if it came scratched or if I did it using that stupid credit card installer thing but it is now scratched. I would just lay it on without rubbing plastic across is :). I compared it to the Defender and this case feels much less bulky. I know from experience Otterbox also provides amazing customer service should you ever need it. -- not bulky
